Si le bain semble contenir comme des flocons de poivre noir flottants en surface, il convient d\u2019augmenter le d\u00e9capage pour \u00e9liminer les oxydes et autres impuret\u00e9s. Un d\u00e9capage trop important peut conduire \u00e0 la formation d\u2019une bille sur la pointe en carbure de tungst\u00e8ne et r\u00e9duire la p\u00e9n\u00e9tration. Une valeur EN de 75&nbsp;% constitue un bon point de d\u00e9part.
